AvidSong is a creative community for lyricists, listeners, and music lovers. To keep our platform safe and fair, all users must follow these Content Guidelines.

1. Original Works Only

• Writers must only upload original lyrics they created.
• Do not copy or plagiarise lyrics from other writers, artists, or sources.
• Submitting infringing content may result in takedown, account suspension, or legal action.
• All tracks are screened through industry-standard compliance systems (via Symphonic and internal tests) before release. Writers will receive a Clearance Paper once a track passes review.

2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, share, or promote content that:

• Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, or disability.
• Promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, or criminal activity.
• Includes sexually explicit or pornographic material.
• Encourages self-harm, drug abuse, or dangerous behaviour.
• Contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

3. Fraud & Abuse

• Do not use bots, scripts, or fake accounts to inflate streams, shares, or AP credits.
• Do not misuse referral systems or attempt to game the revenue pool.
• Fraudulent behaviour may result in account termination and loss of AP or earnings.
• Content flagged during compliance checks may be delayed or removed until cleared.

4. Community Features (Fan Clubs, Playlists, Chat)

• Be respectful to others in fan clubs, playlists, and chat rooms.
• No spam, scams, or advertising without permission.
• No harassment, bullying, or stalking of other users.
• AvidSong may moderate or close fan clubs that break these rules.

5. Reporting Content

• If you see content that violates these guidelines, report it through the platform or email legal@avidsong.com.
• AvidSong will review and may remove content or suspend accounts at its discretion.

6. Consequences of Violations
Violations of these guidelines may lead to:

• Content removal
• Suspension of AP credits
• Account termination
• Loss of earnings or payouts

7. Governing Law
These Guidelines form part of AvidSong’s Terms of Service and are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where applicable, local laws in Bangladesh also apply.
