1. Respect for Copyright
AvidSong respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users (writers, listeners, and partners) to do the same.

Users must only upload original lyrics or content they have the rights to use. Any unauthorised use of copyrighted works is strictly prohibited.

2. AvidSong Content ID, Distribution & Clearance

• Tracks produced on AvidSong are delivered to distributors (e.g., Symphonic) and registered with copyright protection systems such as YouTube Content ID, TikTok, and Spotify.
• Before release, every track is screened using professional compliance systems. Writers receive a Clearance Paper confirming the track has passed these checks.
• This process significantly reduces the chance of copyright disputes. However, no system in the music industry can guarantee 100% clearance.

3. Reporting Infringement (Takedown Requests)
If you believe your work has been used on AvidSong without permission, please send a copyright notice to: legal@avidsong.com

Your notice must include:

• Your full name and contact details.
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Counter-Notification
If your content is removed due to a copyright claim and you believe this is a mistake, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@avidsong.com including:

• Your name, address, and contact details.
• Identification of the removed content and its location before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
• A statement that you consent to jurisdiction in England and Wales (and, if relevant, Bangladesh courts).
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If a valid counter-notice is received, AvidSong may restore the content unless the original complainant takes legal action within 14 days.

5. Support with Documentation

• Writers whose tracks were cleared by AvidSong will receive their Clearance Paper as supporting documentation.
• AvidSong may provide additional evidence such as timestamps, file hashes, and distributor confirmation to assist with disputes.
• AvidSong will act reasonably to support Writers but is not liable for final outcomes of third-party claims.

6. Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly upload infringing content may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

7. Limitation of Liability
AvidSong processes copyright claims in accordance with applicable law. We are not responsible for losses or damages caused by removals, delays, or disputes arising from copyright notices.

8. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where applicable, local copyright law in Bangladesh shall also apply.
