AvidSong turns creativity into opportunity.
We reward Writers (lyricists) and Listeners (fans) through a transparent, fair, and sustainable earning system.
This page explains how revenue is generated, how it is shared, and how payouts work.

1. Revenue Sources
Revenue on AvidSong comes from multiple channels:

  • Advertising shown before, during, or after songs on AvidSong.
  • External music platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok, etc.) via official distribution partners.
  • Premium services, such as paid memberships, song distribution plans, fan clubs, and promotional tools.

2. How Revenue Is Shared
All songs published on AvidSong are distributed globally.
However, how much a Writer earns depends on their membership type:

Free Members

  • Songs are published and distributed under the AvidSong label.
  • Writers earn Avid Points (AP) based on plays, shares, and listener engagement on the AvidSong platform.
  • AP represents activity and exposure value — not direct cash payouts.
  • Free members do not receive revenue from external platforms.

Paid Members (Licensed Writers)

  • Writers who purchase a distribution plan or become paid members receive 50% of all revenue generated by their songs.
  • This includes income from AvidSong itself and from all external platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok, etc.).
  • AvidSong retains the remaining 50% to cover production, publishing, distribution, and marketing costs — ensuring long-term sustainability.

💡 This balanced model allows AvidSong to produce, publish, and promote songs globally while ensuring fair earnings for dedicated writers.

3. Listener Rewards (AP System)

AvidSong also rewards listeners for helping the community grow.
Listeners can earn Avid Points (AP) by:

  • Listening to songs
  • Sharing tracks
  • Referring new users

A portion of AvidSong’s advertising revenue is placed into the Listener Reward Pool,
which is distributed as AP points.
These points can later be redeemed for features, fan club upgrades, or other benefits inside the platform.

4. Reporting

  • Writers can view their songs, plays, and AP balances in their personal dashboard.
  • Paid Members will also see detailed revenue data from AvidSong and external platforms through our distribution partner (Symphonic Distribution).
  • Listeners can view their total AP earnings and activity stats.

All external platform data is based on official distributor reports.

5. Payouts & Redemption

  • Minimum withdrawal amount: $50 (or equivalent in AP).
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer, mobile wallet, or supported payout options.
  • Schedule: Payout requests are processed monthly.
  • Processing time: 7–15 business days after approval.
  • Fees: Transaction or processing fees may apply and will be deducted at payout.

⚠️ Payouts are available only to paid members (licensed writers) whose songs generate verified revenue through AvidSong or distribution partners.

6. Clearance & Eligibility
Before any track is published or distributed, AvidSong performs a pre-release clearance check for copyright, compliance, and technical quality.
Once approved, Writers receive a Clearance Paper confirming their track’s verification.

Only cleared tracks are eligible for revenue and payout inclusion.
If a third-party platform flags a song, AvidSong will assist with documentation but is not responsible for final decisions made by those platforms.

7. Future Tokenisation
Currently, rewards and engagement values are issued as Avid Points (AP) — a virtual in-platform credit.
In the future, AvidSong may introduce a blockchain-based token system, allowing AP to be converted into tokens under terms set by AvidSong.
Such conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on technical, legal, and regulatory approval.

8. Fraud & Abuse
Fraudulent behaviour — including fake streams, bot activity, or manipulation of AP or play counts —
may result in account suspension and loss of earnings.
AvidSong reserves the right to withhold or adjust payouts if suspicious activity is detected.

9. Corrections
If reporting or calculation errors occur, AvidSong will correct them in the next payout cycle.
Distributor data (e.g., from Symphonic) will always be the final source of truth for external revenue.
