At AvidSong, we value our Writers, Listeners, and Fans. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and when they are not.
1. General Principle
- Because AvidSong provides digital services and virtual credits (AP), most purchases are non-refundable once completed.
- However, we will review refund requests in certain cases (see below).
2. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are not available for:
- AP (Avid Points) once purchased or credited to your account.
- Song downloads, unless there is a technical error (e.g., file corrupted, download fails).
- Fan Club subscriptions after the subscription period has started.
- Song promotion services once they have begun running.
- Any AP used to buy features, gifts, or upgrades.
3. Refundable Situations
Refunds may be granted if:
- A technical error prevented you from receiving the service you paid for (e.g., download never delivered, fan club access failed).
- You were charged incorrectly due to a system or billing error.
- You made an accidental duplicate purchase.
In these cases, refunds will be issued to your original payment method or as AP credits.
4. Rights Purchases (Writers)
- Partial Rights Purchases (e.g., platform-specific rights): non-refundable once confirmed, since distribution updates begin immediately.
- Full Rights Purchases (worldwide ownership): non-refundable once completed, since copyright assignment is legally binding.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email legal@avidsong.com within 7 days of the purchase with:
Your account details
- The purchase receipt or transaction ID
- A description of the issue
Refund requests after 7 days may not be considered.
6. Processing
- Refunds are reviewed within 10 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–15 business days.
- Transaction or processing fees may be deducted.
7. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where applicable, consumer protection laws in Bangladesh may also apply.
